House Wines

Our House White Wines and Rose come from Gascony, the home of Fois Gras and the Three Muskateers where the climate is cool enough to produce White Wines which are refreshing and sparkle with zesty aromatics.

Bin 1.  House Dry White      £16.50
Cuvee Jean-Paul - France; deliciously fresh, fragrant and smooth.
Bin 2.House Medium White     £16.50
Cuvee-Jean Paul - France ; uncomplicated and easy drinking.

Cuvee Jean-Paul - France; crushed red berries laced with an exotic twist.

Our House Red has come from the Pays de Vaucluse which is the local wine of the southern Rhone Valley. Vaucluse Reds have the fullness of fruit and roundness of smooth tannins to make a wine with sufficient body to be enjoyed on their own as well as being stamped with sufficient character to partner food.

Cuvee Jean-Paul - France; a delicious and easy drinking, uncomplicated wine with juicy fruit and a touch of spice.

White Wines

Bin 3. Chardonnay, Cape Heights - South Africa     £17.95
No Oak here, just a nose with vibrant white peach, green apple and lime zest with a creamy mouth feel.
Bin 4. Sauvignon Blanc, Alto Bajo - Chile   £17.95
Intense aromas of lemon peel and ripe tropical fruits such as mango an pineapple are rounded off on the palate with mineral notes and a refreshing crisp finish.
Bin 5. Pinot Grigio, Mirabello- Italy £18.95
Clear and light lemon-green in colour. Fresh and blosson like on the nose with faint peach and almond notes.
Bin 6. Gavi, River Leone - Italy £21.50
Delicate and intense fruity and lemony notes. Clean and fresh with a long, lingering citrusy finish.
Bin 7. Muscadet Sur Lie, Chateau de Coing - France £22.50
Anyone who hasn't tried Muscadet for a few years needs to, preferably with a big bowl of mussels. It might be one of the oldest food and wine matches in the book but that doesn't mean it isn't brillaint.
Bin 8. Sauvignon Blanc, Bascand Estate- Marlborough - New Zealand  £23.50
It's tangy, aggressive, invigorating - just what we want from a Kiwi Sauvignon. We want a wine full of green leaf, green apple peel, nettle, coffee bean and lime zest attack with a ripe texture flowing through it.
Bin 9. Big Easy Chenin Blanc,Ernie Els, Stellenbosch - South Africa £27.50
This wine leaps from the glasswith an extreme tropical vibrancy. A melange of Strawberry and Pineapple flavous are all wound up by a limey streak on the nose.
Bin 10. Kung Fu Girl Reisling, Charles Smith - Washington USA £29.50
This wine is from the Colombia Valley region of Washington State, two states up from California on the West Coast of the USA. The grapes come from a cool site producing fruit with sublime minerality. Te wine is smooth and aromatic with Apricot, Key Lime and Nectarine flavours.
Bin 11. Macon Villages, Domaine Perraud - France  £29.95
A gold medal winner, this wine is bright yellow in colour with perfumed white flowers and stone fruit on the nose. The palate is medium to full bodied, with lively citrus acidity and flavours of fruit salad including Melon, Peach and a hint of Pineapple.

Red Wines

Bin 16. Merlot, Alto Bajo - Chile  £17.95
Great depth of vibrant purple colour with exuberant, youthful perfumes of Cassis and Plum from the Merlot together with a spicy White Pepper note.
Bin 17. Shiraz, Cape Heights - South Africa £17.95
Rich and powerful flavours as juicy plums, raspberries and blackberries with that all important peppery spice
Bin 18. Barrel Aged Tempranillo, Solarena - Spain £19.50
Ripe in character with spiced raspberry aromas. The enticinh brambly fruit on the palategives way to rounded, velvety vanilla flavours while the subtle oakadds extra richness, structure and intensity of flavour.
Bin 19. Montepulciano d'Abruzzo "La Bella Addormentata", Gran Sasso - Italy £19.50
Spicy and Juicy! A full bodied wine that is soft and balanced with a long flavoursome finish.
Bin 20. Malbec, Tilia - Argentina £19.50
For people who enjoy a big bold wine that really packs a punch. Aromas of black cherries and cassis with a hint of toast and flavours of raspberries, a touch of chocolate and a hint of spice to delight he tastebuds.
Bin 21. Sangiovese, Fantini - Italy  £21.50
Fresh strawberry aromas and earthy notes. Can be served slightly chilled but deserves respect due to the soft aromas and lashings of fresh fruit.
Bin 22. Primitovo, Dandelion Vineyards - Australia £21.50
Deep red in colour, this wine is a heady mix of dark berry fruit. Excellent structure, it has great depth of richness of plums and blackberries.
Bin 23. Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva, Inspira - Chile £21.00
Ripe blackcurrant and plum fruit with a hint of minty eucalyptus and toasty oak spice.
Bin 24. Rioja Crianza, Dinastia Vivanco - Spain £27.00
Intense aromas of red and black fruits abound the palate. A gentle hint of oak and toasted spice with a wonderfully long and fresh finish.
Bin 25. Fleurie La Madone, La Reine de L'Arenite, Beaujolais - France £25.50
This wine has fresh strawberry aromas, light tannins and lashings of fresh fruit.

Rose

Coppery pink colour with easy drinking attractive berry fruits. Overtly delicious with a refreshing tang.
