Reception and Ceremony facilities. We are pleased to cater for wedding parties of any size from four - 120 guests and evening receptions for up to 150 guests. The Resolution Suite is the ideal venue for both the Ceremony and Reception. It offers comfortable, air conditioned, exclusive dining facilities and a unique atmosphere for your evening celebrations.


Catering : We will look after all aspects of catering from the splendid festive meal to light evening refreshments or suppers. Facilities for the Bride and Groom : Our exclusive four-poster bedroom is available for the bride and groom. This is complimentary for parties of over 50 guests.


Accommodation: We are able to offer an attractive accommodation package for wedding guests wishing to stay overnight.


Master of Ceremonies A Master of Ceremonies will be with you throughout the reception if you so desire.

A top quality, professional Disc Jockey - using only equipment especially designed for the resolution suite is available at £165.00

 

Civil Ceremonies

The Wainstones Hotel is fully Licensed to host your Wedding Ceremony with the local Registrar. The Manager will gladly advise on this most personal way of holding the complete Wedding day at The Wainstones Hotel. Below there is a copy of the guidance notes written by North Yorkshire County Council for Couples wishing to marry on “Approved Premises"

 

For civil ceremonies the costs are as follows - up to 40 guests is £100.00 and over 40 guests is £125.00

 


Guidance for Couples wishing to Marry on Approved Premises

  1. Having confirmed the date and time of their marriage at the “approved premises”, the couple should be advised to contact the local office situated at:

  3. They need to confirm with the Superintendent Registrar that he/she can attend and conduct the ceremony on the day and time in question. This can be done up to 12 months in advance of the marriage and should always be done as soon as possible.

  4. The couple will then receive written confirmation within 7 days of the phone call. This will outline: the date and place at which they will need to give the legal notice of their intention to marry the documents they need to produce and the fee to be paid.

NB: A notice of intention to marry can be given a maximum of 12 months in advance of this date. This must be done before the Superintendent Registrar of the Office in the District in which you reside. You CANNOT get married without giving due notice in the district(s) where you live.

 

Terms And Conditions

Once you have chosen your date, please check that we have availability; we offer the option of provisionally booking the date for fourteen days with no charge and no obligation. We then require the return of the completed wedding booking form together with a deposit of £200.00. The wedding booking form outlines all other booking and payment terms and procedures.
