Built originally as a 17th Century Farmhouse, The Wainstones
Hotel, offers the ideal surrounding for these most important
of family celebrations.
 The
Resolution Suite offers a unique and comfortable private
dining area for your guests to enjoy after
a traditional Christening at Church. The Wainstones
Hotel also holds a full Civil License making it perfect
for holding a very personal Naming Ceremony either
in The Resolution Suite itself or outside in our adjoining
garden.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Menus - Often a more informal style of catering is
preferred for such events. With this in mind our award
winning
team ot chefs have created a selection of buffet and
other light menus. As
with all of our packages, these menus are meant only
as
a guide
and
we will gladly
alter
your selected menu to suit your individual requirements.
If you would prefer a different style of menu or dining
to those listed below, simply give us a call.
Dietary Requirements -
Many people have special dietary needs, or simply very
individual tastes. Given notice, our chefs can cater
for your guests own individual requirements.
A Private Bar -
A private bar is available in The Resolution Suite
for your guests.
Children - It is often more suitable to cater for
Children’s
tastes separately. You will notice below that
we have included two additional Children’s buffet
menus which can be served in addition to the main selection.

NAMING CEREMONIES
A naming ceremony is a special gathering of family
and close friends to welcome the child into the family,
to officially announce the  names
that have been chosen and to make promises of commitment
to nurture and support the child. The ceremony is carried
out in an appropriate venue with the assistance and
presence of the registrars from the local area,.
At The Wainstones Hotel, ceremonies can he held either
in The Resolution Suite or in the adjoining garden.
Every Naming Ceremony is unique. Complete information
about how to arrange your ceremony should be obtained
from the Registrars office in Northallerton.

The costs:
The Hotel Charge for the area to hold the Naming Ceremony
is £55.00. For confirmation of the Registrars
Fees, you
should contact them at the above number. They are currently
around £200.
